Thank you to everyone who submitted their objections about the Hill of Fare windfarm to the ECU before the deadline of 2nd February; we reached over 1,000 objections which is great.
We now need to make sure that Aberdeenshire Council understand the strength of feeling in communities against this development, and request that Aberdeenshire Council register its objection to the application. I object to Hill of Fare in Scotland, but do you know that there are proposals for a 1000….YES THOUSAND……..wind turbines of this size across Wales……all to power ENGLAND, where there has been a moratorium on wind turbines for years. Wales like, Scotland, already has FAR TOO MUCH ELECTRICITY. It is being used to power the vast 57 million in England.
Do you know that Cabinet Minister Stephen Kinnock MP has made an OFFICIAL OBJECTION to the 17 gigantic 820 ft wind turbines of “Bryn Wind Farm” by Ireland’s Coriolis above Port Talbot, S Wales………whilst his wife, HelleThorning-Schmidt[ former Prime Minister of Denmark] is a DIRECTOR of Vestas Wind Turbines[ earning £53000 pa] to plaster the REST OF WALES……..and Scotland!? What hypocrisy!! Stephen Kinnock MP cited NOISE, SHADOW-FLICKER, TV INTERFERENCE AND INABILITY TO RECYCLE THE 260FT BLADES…….WHICH MUST GO TO LAND-FILL!! He is in the Westminster LABOUR CABINET!!
