HILL OF FARE WINDFARM INFORMATION GROUP (HOFWIG)

KNOW THE ISSUES

PUBLIC MEETING WEDNESDAY 14TH JUNE, 8 pm, MIDMAR HALL

RES the windfarm developer and the Dunecht Estates have submitted a proposal to build a windfarm on the Hill of Fare consisting of 16 turbines of around 200m tall. This will have a massive impact on those living on and around the hill and those along the power export route.

If you want to know the issues and find out the latest information about the proposed development, please come along to hear from HOFWIG members and ask any questions you may have. We will attempt to answer them!

The above map was drafted in 1739 and shows the Hill of Fare as ‘Commonty’
See the following for information on Commonty: http://www.andywightman.com/docs/secur_comm8.pdf

How and when did Dunecht Estate happen to acquire exclusive title to the Hill of Fare?
Can they prove title with title deeds, receipt of purchase or legal documents that would stand up to scrutiny?
