Our only way to stop the HoF Windfarm, and to prevent further wind farms from following it, is to ensure that there is a Public Enquiry<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here are instructions to object to the proposal to develop a windfarm on the Hill of Fare.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Write an email to the ECU at representations@gov.scot<\/a> and copy it to your councillors<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This needs to be done before 2nd February 2024<\/strong>. The more emails they receive the better and if they are for genuine planning reasons<\/strong>, outlined below, the more chance<\/strong> they will have of being considered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anyone can object<\/strong> but they need to be 18 or older. Each member of your household<\/strong> can object provided they have a unique email address<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you are more experienced in dealing with planning matters please chose your own methods to object but include the two references<\/strong> below, your name in block capitals<\/strong>, full return email address and postal address<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

STATE YOUR REASONS FOR YOUR OBJECTION<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                    – Landscape and visual impact
                    – Nature, environment, biodiversity (birds, animals, peat)
                    – Damage to local water supplies – farms, residents, river Dee
                    – Local nuisance – noise, flicker,
                    – No sustainable, long-term economic benefit locally or nationally
                    – Health and well being
                    – Construction disruption to local business and residents<\/p>\n\n\n\n
