Here’s why hundreds of people who live to the North side of the Hill of Fare are really concerned about “Flicker”. This is typically caused as a result of the interaction between rotating turbine blades and sun light. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The image shows the ridge of the Hill of Fare from a relatively typical property to the North of the Hill. This was taken shortly after the sun had peaked above the brow of the Hill at about 8:00am. For at least 2 months of the year (December and January), the sun then proceeds to track across the horizon, barely rising above this ridge. All 17 proposed turbines are located on this ridge, in the path of the sun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
